Please remember, whenever we speak about any group of people, that profile describes those characteristics that are widely common to the group. This does not however mean that any one individual from the group will evidence all of those characteristics and traits. As people, each of us is a unique individual and deserves to be treated with respect and as an individual. Millennials are no different. Do not attempt to pigeon-hole an individual millennial and apply stereotypes. This is both unfair and unkind.
The information John has developed is intended to help all of us, including millennials themselves, better understand this generation. They have enormous potential and many wonderful attributes. They are a “hopeful” generation that is full of promise and it is John’s sincere desire that through his keynote speeches, writing and consulting, you will come to better understand, value, appreciate and yes, “love” the millennials in your life. John and his wife Sally have five adult children, two Gen-X, two millennials (Gen-Y) and one precisely in the middle of the two generations.
We welcome your questions and feedback about this subject or any of the many other business topics that John addresses in his speaking and consulting. Please let us know how we may be of assistance to you, your audiences and your organization.
