By excellence, we mean an act or item that is unusually good, far above the average, better and more valuable than normal. In life, the pursuit of excellence is a character trait that allows those who strive hard to develop it, to go far and beyond the normal and usual in the exercise of their personal capabilities. This not only benefits them, but also everyone associated with them, through their words, actions and attitudes.
At DI FRANCES & ASSOCIATES, LLC, excellence is a goal that invigorates everything we seek to do, for ourselves, our colleagues and our clients. It serves as a constant reminder that “good enough” is never “Good Enough.” Life is short, therefore, why bother doing things that are not worthy of being done excellently?
We are not perfect. We make mistakes. We fail at times. But we never set out to do anything without the attitude of doing it in a manner that is the best possible.
Excellence includes a determination to always act with the client’s best interests at heart. Whether in determining what services to offer a client, how those services can best be performed to maximize the benefit the client receives or in matters as simple as the exercise of discretion in accruing travel expenses for a client’s account, John’s belief is to act for the client as he would on his own behalf.
Excellence also includes a commitment to transparency. What you see is what you get. We are what we are and do not pretend that we can help everyone who calls upon us. If we honestly believe that we can assist you in achieving your goals in a value based, cost and time effective manner, we will tell you so. If not, we will also tell you that and try to recommend another course of action that may better serve you. We would like to have you as both a client and a friend, but if we cannot effectively serve you as a client, then we would rather say so and retain your friendship.
